I have openings! I enjoy working with people who are stuck, experiencing overwhelming emotional distress and who have experienced a loss of sorts. Sometimes experiencing emotional distress may manifest as feeling worn out, hopeless, or may also be masked as physical discomfort (think racing heart, shallow breathing, tense muscles). Major life transitions also impact our ability to regulate emotions in a helpful and adaptive way. If you find yourself experiencing emotional ups and downs and physical manifestations of emotional disturbances, know that there is a path towards healing. I also focus on nervous system regulation.
The path towards healing may involve deepening the mind-body connection through breath work, increased nervous system awareness, curiosity, self-compassion and therapies like EMDR and brainspotting. I offer a deeply relational and non-judgmental approach to help process life's ups and downs. With consistent effort and curiosity you can experience progress.
I have had the opportunity to witness individuals process trauma, gain lasting coping skills, and thrive not despite their suffering but because of it. I appreciate how important taking time for myself is - and I too continually work to regulate my nervous system by integrating my mind and body through running, yoga, and grabbing coffee with loved ones.
