My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning that I will work collaboratively with you to tune into your struggles, explore new and creative ways to cope, and strengthen your ability to manage your emotional experiences. I believe in using art in conjunction to traditional talk based therapy, as I have seen it provides an alternative way of expressing oneself for children, adolescents, young adults, geriatric clients, and on an inpatient psychiatric unit.
I am not afraid of stepping into the dark with you. I’m adept at engaging your inner resources and creativity to provide support in developing unique coping skills and management of your emotional experience. I am holistically oriented and welcome your vast array of beliefs and world views to further enhance our therapy together.
