Autumn completed her undergraduate internship at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center in 2005. Since then, she has served as a clinician for local non-profit agencies, worked with local Community Services Boards, and facilitated groups in the Adult Behavioral Health Unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She is currently a School Counselor with Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Autumn's theoretical foundation is grounded in a person-centered approach, with a core belief in the importance of relationship development for effective treatment.
She also incorporates Solution-Focused Brief Counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into her practice, utilizing techniques such as thought reframing, goal setting, relaxation, creative self-expression, and mindfulness.
