Creating a trusting relationship allows us to explore your relationships, moods and anxieties. We also will focus on thoughts or ways of being in the world that are troubling to you so that you may start experiencing more success at work and in your personal relationships.
To make sense of what is troubling you, emotionally and behaviorally, we will look at past and present stress. Working together we come to understand how anxiety, trauma or depression developed in your mind and body and how it effects you today. Our goal is to gain skills to alleviate your distress so that you can live a more genuine and meaningful life.
I have been in private psychotherapy practice for over 25 years. I have a special interest in working with parents, people struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD and gender identity issues. Couples are welcome. My style can be described as intuitive, engaged and accessible.
