I have been practicing therapy since 2016, and have developed a special focus on helping individuals suffering from anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), increasing self-esteem and confidence. In general, I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Approach (CBT) in addition to my existential and psychodynamic foundation. This means we may spend time making meaning of past experiences but will mostly work on issues that are coming up in the present.

When treating OCD or obsessive symptoms I utilize an approach called ERP or Exposure and Response Prevention to help clients overcome their fears and free themselves from intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. There has been extensive research conducted regarding the use of ERP for OCD, it has been shown to be highly effective and is the frontline.

Choosing to go to therapy can be scary, and definitely vulnerable. I have been there too, on the other side of the room (or computer screen as things are now). Gathering the courage to fight is a huge effort, and it's less overwhelming with help. If you'll have me, I'd love to be your partner on this journey.
