My job is to meet you where you are emotionally in your life, facilitate self-understanding and help you reach your goals. I place heavy focus on self-care, behavioral management, cognitive restructuring, and self-compassion.
I have experience with military, civilian, interpersonal, and medical trauma. I have worked with people that experience depression, anxiety, panic, anger, ADHD, and personality disorders. I address these emotional health concerns with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic Model and incorporate other CBT-based coping mechanisms and interventions.
My job as a therapist is to challenge you and help you grow. Not all therapists operate the same and finding a therapeutic alliance with someone you trust is integral for a successful outcome. I call people out, offer different frames, and highly attuned to detecting self-abusive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and cognitive distortions.
