When you go through something in your life that changes the way you view yourself, others, and your beliefs about the world, it can feel traumatic. I'm a certified clinical trauma specialist, so I'm here to hold a safe space for you to work through some of the life defining moments you've experienced. I'm here to help you make meaning of what you've gone through, and go from simply surviving to thriving. We can be structured in routine or change approach often. I offer fully virtual sessions to make treatment accessible for all.
As a trauma specialist, I lean on trauma focused therapy and use elements of others. Mostly, I use cognitive processing therapy techniques (talking through your beliefs and feelings) and eye movement or EMDR. I also rely on family systems and attachment theories to strengthen your relationships.
