I have worked in range of areas including the following: I have worked at non-profits helping disenfranchised youth gain employment skills through urban farming, and I have worked at the Seattle’s community colleges eradicating barriers to assist adults to obtain an education and career. I have worked for five years as a Case Manager in Addiction Recovery leading life skill groups and completing assessments to help addicts heal from their addiction. I have worked with helping attachment between mothers and their children. I have volunteered at a suicide hotline to deescalate mentally ill and suicidal people and keep them safe.
I have worked with Hospice and Home Health where I provided talk therapy to grieving patients and their families through end of life and connected patients to community resources in Central Washington. I have recently worked as a medical social worker working with patients who struggle with mental health issues, homelessness, and older adult problems.
I am a vibrant and passionate person who loves to assist and encourage others to reach their fullest potential. I implement many healthy coping mechanisms on a daily basis in order to feel and be my best. I am someone who is authentic, down-to-earth and open-minded.
