Hi there! My name is Ashley Poprilo, PsyD and I'm a licensed psychologist in the state of Illinois. I'm so glad that you've taken the first step on your journey to wellness! My passion lies in community health and providing mental health support for people who would otherwise struggle to find a good therapist. I recognize that at times, it can be hard to ask for help and I want to honor that bravery by joining you on the journey to living authentically.
I utilize Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing techniques to accomplish individualized therapy goals. I work with anyone over the age of 18 and can treat a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, gender identity, stage of life adjustment, and challenges with relationships.
I see myself as a collaborator, assisting people as they identify the kind of life they would like to live and lay the stepping stones toward achieving their aspirations.
