Hello, my name is Ashley N Long-Labaar (she/her). I hold an Associate License in both Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counseling. I provide individual therapy both via telehealth and in clinic in Downey CA. I am passionate about mental health and providing a safe non-judgmental space where clients can begin their journey to understanding and healing. I specialize in working with children and adolescents 0-17. I approach each therapeutic engagement with the understanding that for children this can be scary and work on building trust and rapport with my clients.
I have experience in helping clients work through various concerns such as; anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, behavioral concerns, and anger issues. When working with clients I utilize different evidence based practices such as; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child and Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
