There are so many different approaches and therapists out there, it can be really overwhelming to find the right fit. It takes a lot of energy and courage to then reach out to a therapist to start this process of recovery. I get it, it's tough, but it's worth it. We all want to get to the other side where we are able to manage the ups and downs the way we envision, but because of negative feelings and events, sometimes we get stuck from making that connection, which is why therapy can be helpful to support moving forward.
I really enjoy working with adults, adolescents, and children. I work with a variety of concerns, but find I am most comfortable with individuals who are going through life transitions, substance use, and trauma. I utilize EMDR, ACT, DBT, and IFS informed approaches within the therapeutic space.
I am direct, honest, and compassionate. I try to show up in a real, authentic way that is not stuffy but relatable. At the end of the day my goal is to hold space for you to use how you would like which we can outline together.
