I believe that each person has the ability to make the changes they desire and will focus on empowering your strengths during the counseling process. As each person is unique, my approach is eclectic and based on the needs of each client. This approach will pull from evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy.
I work with adults and teenagers over the age of 13. I have several years of experience working with individuals in a variety of areas, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship problems, communication skills, and women’s issues. I have a special interest in helping individuals explore their gender and sexual identity.
Together, we will look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are impacting your day-to-day life and how to implement positive changes going forward. I believe each person has the ability to improve their lives provided they receive appropriate support and effective tools. A safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment is provided for you.
