Hi! I’m Ashley Sears, a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a passion for supporting individuals with complex developmental trauma. Trauma can hold us hostage to our past and I hope to provide a pathway to freedom in healing. Additionally, I believe strongly in helping both intimate and family relationships as these connections are often an anchor in life. Relationships don’t come with an instruction manual and can easily get thrown into chaos due to everyday life events. Thankfully, seeking support is the first step towards a new beginning.
I've worked in mental health roles serving the most vulnerable for 10 years. Therefore, I feel comfortable helping others navigate all walks of life. I’m an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapist who utilizes Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills with individuals and Emotion Focused Therapy with relational clients.
Having worked on my own mental health, I understand the stigma/complexity that comes with life experiences. My goal is to provide non-judgmental support, empathy, autonomy, and encouragement.
