I believe that all of us at some point in our lives experience difficulties and need a secure, safe and non-judgmental place to "re-empower" ourselves. For this reason I have become passionate about providing just that place to help individuals reduce or alleviate the impact of depression, anxiety, stress and/or the effects of trauma and abuse.
Along with stress management, I am trained in, and utilize, dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, both of which help challenge my clients to see their world with a different perspective and, therefore, with different possibilities and options.
I am also trained in EMDR, an advanced therapy that helps clients with the resulting symptoms from trauma to process the experience and move forward with their lives thriving rather than merely surviving.
