Life can feel overwhelming. Painful experiences, trauma, anxiety, and conflicts can alter life. It can lead us to shy away from vulnerability. We boast about independence and feel obligated to be everyone's 'person'. We often set high expectations. We decide we have to be the strong one, reliable one, the one to 'fix it.' Aiming for perfection that doesn't exist, all while silently struggling, feeling alone and exhausted, fighting for control, the ability to predict all while feeling nothing is predictable.
It doesn't have to stay this way. Therapy provides a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions, to gain insights, understanding, and gain clarity and skills to improve your quality of life. Together we'll explore what's needed and develop an approach that best fits you.
I encourage everyone to do a brief consultation before setting up an intake. It's a free 15-minutes call or video chat that will help both parties determine if I'm the right therapist for you. - Currently not accepting new clients. August 2024 I will resume taking new clients.
