A-Z: Anger to Zen
I understand that adolescence can be a challenging time, filled with various emotions and experiences. I am thrilled to announce the launch of “A-Z: Anger to Zen” , an anger management group for teens, aimed at providing a supportive and empowering space for youth to explore and manage their emotions effectively. This group is a 12-week program offered virtually for convenience and to reach as many teens as possible. Teens are invited to join from anywhere in the state of Florida. Groups are one hour long. This is an experiential group where participants can process trauma in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. Using unconventional ways to communicate thoughts, feelings, and emotions helps us reach the areas of our brain, we might not be able to in traditional talk therapy. Some activities could include art therapy, music therapy, narrative therapy, roleplay, and meditation. This will be an open group where participants are the leaders. This is not your typical therapy group, but believe experiential techniques are one of the best ways to work through difficult thoughts and emotions. Groups run for one hour.
