I'm passionate about helping people truly thrive in life, not just survive. Trauma, depression and anxiety are far too common, and can completely rob life of its joy. Hope and healing are available! Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness therapy, and trauma-focused therapy, such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems Therapy, we can get creative together to bring more joy into your life.
I enjoy and specialize in working with trauma, grief, mood disorders, pre- and postpartum depression/anxiety/OCD/ PTSD, birth trauma, infertility, and perinatal grief and loss. I wrote a Support Group curriculum for parents experiencing perinatal mood disorders and enjoy group work as well.
I am a volunteer with Postpartum Support International for Reno, Nevada. When I am not working with clients or running around with my kids, I love to explore nature, practice yoga and kung fu, experiment in the kitchen, read with a cup of tea, meditate, and write.
