Being vulnerable can feel scary, but I am a believer in "great things never came from comfort zones". I have worked with a variety of populations ranging from children-adults and including things such as anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, substance use and addiction, behavioral disorders and other stress and conflict. I have been in this field assisting clients for about 9 years. I have worked in a variety of settings including in-home counseling, outpatient clinics, partial hospitalization and now private practice. I use a variety of techniques and interventions that I've been educated and trained in such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, schemas, MI and a trauma-focused approach.
However, I do not believe that just the interventions are important.
