I love working with clients who strive for growth and healing through a collaborative process of self-discovery. I strive to work with clients to re-imagine their lives and their identity that is in alignment with their authentic self and truth(s). My clients learn how to integrate their past with their present in a way that creates wholeness and a sense of new purpose and meaning.
My approach to counseling is founded upon social justice values and intersectional feminism. I take into account how individuals are pressured into behaving and living in ways that are not genuine to them. I help clients in a gentle and firm process to unthread their complex stories to make sense of who they truly are and want to be in their life.
This process can be scary because of all of the unknowns of therapy. I provide a sense of safety, warmth, compassion, and patience as I walk alongside you in your healing process. I also provide my honest reflections when needed to assist you in viewing your life issues with alternative perspectives to facilitate lasting change.
