Life can be busy and especially difficult when past experiences intrude on your present and hold you back. I specialize in helping women who have faced challenging life events, supporting them in restoring hope, strength, and resilience. As a mom and the spouse of a former first responder, I understand firsthand how unpredictable life can be. Utilizing my certifications in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Somatic Healing practices, I help you gain a sense of safety and control. Somatic Healing involves teaching movement and breath techniques to process issues that can be difficult to verbalize.
I also offer Somatic Healing Coaching for those who might not be ready for therapy but still want to benefit from movement and breath techniques. Additionally, I host educational "how to" grounding group sessions where participants can learn practical grounding exercises to manage stress and anxiety. My clients often say I’m “not your typical therapist”.
I focus less on symptoms & more on you as a whole person. With a background in working with first responders & a deep understanding of trauma, I provide tailored support that addresses your unique needs.
