Hello! My name is Ashley Solt with In The Now Counseling. My practice focuses on the issues faced by children/adolescents, women, and couples. Life is hard. Our lives are busy. There’s a lot of pressure on our children. Our romantic relationships can suffer from the fast pace that we keep. In my work as a therapist, I’ve gained valuable experience working with young people and collaborating with their families. I’ve supported women with things like self-esteem building, boundary setting, and stress management and I help couples with parenting struggles, relationship dynamics and becoming better communicators.
During my initial sessions with you, I prioritize rapport-building. I firmly believe that a strong sense of safety and connection is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. When working with children and adolescents, I obtain collateral information from and build relationships with parents and caregivers, as well.
I tailor my approach to your needs, so no two clients will receive the same course of treatment. I take pride in my ability to connect on a personal level and have received positive feedback from many that they feel comfortable, supported, and empowered during their sessions.
