Whether it is for you, your child, or your teen the decision to pursue therapy is one that can elicit a range of emotions. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship, in which the comfort and trust established allows for safe, supported exploration of one's challenges. I take an integrative approach as I believe that by having access to traditional talk therapy and expressive therapy outlets, you, your child, or your family are able to express and process your emotions and experiences in whatever way feels comfortable.
My areas of specialty include working with children and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions and adjustment difficulties, impulse-control and behavioral challenges, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, and providing parenting and family support. I have specific training in trauma-focused, expressive, and play therapy modalities.
