Hi there! I’m Ashley Davis, a licensed marriage and family therapist (or LMFT) in the state of North Carolina. I’m originally from the Triangle, and I love being able to make a positive impact in the community I grew up in through my work with the clients I serve. Being an LMFT, I have a unique approach to therapy, in that I approach therapy first and foremost from a systemic perspective. This essentially means that I place a large amount of emphasis on how people’s relationships, environments, and backgrounds affect their overall mental wellness and explore these areas in depth with my clients.
Throughout my career as a therapist, I find that clients experience the most success when therapy is tailored to the individual client’s needs, rather than limiting therapy to one method of practice. As such, I employ several different therapeutic methodologies in my work with my clients including CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and Gottman therapies.
When not working, I enjoy reading, being outdoors, yoga, going to live music shows, board game nights with friends, and spending time with my husband, daughter, and son. I look forward to working with you and assisting you with living a more centered and fulfilling life!
