I believe all of us are doing the best we can with what’s in front of us. I also believe we all deserve support, guidance, and someone to understand our dark moments, our lost moments, our hard-to-figure-out moments. That’s why I’m here. I have worked as a licensed therapist with all types of humans for over 12 years. I’m down to earth, experienced, and hard to surprise. I can both firmly challenge distorted beliefs while also bringing incredible compassion for just how hard things are sometimes. I believe in the necessity of humor and value of creative expression as a way to be heard, especially when you can’t find the right words.
I specialize in work with humans with depression, anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, the LGBTQA+ community, and grief. With a licensure in drug and alcohol counseling, I frequently work with folks recovering from a wide range of addictions and support spouses and parents of addicts. My somatic therapy knowledge supports those struggling with body image.
Regardless of if we work together, I deeply respect your willingness to work on yourself. I understand even a good therapist is not always the right one for you specifically, so I'm always happy to schedule a 15 minute call or Zoom to see if we are a good fit for each other. Keep going. It's worth it. Hope to see you soon.
