We all need help sometimes! If you are looking for help in managing the stress of life; maybe you have a child or teen you are concerned about; maybe you are struggling with anxiety or depression; or maybe you just feel like you could use someone to talk to, then I'd love to work with you! I take a holistic approach to therapy by looking at all areas of wellness in one's life and how we can work together to make improvements across the board. I develop strong relationships with my clients to identify your strengths and use those to overcome challenges, develop more positive coping skills, and live a healthier, happier life.
I am EMDR trained and utilize this frequently. I also use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, which focuses on the power of your thoughts. I'm a big proponent of Positive Psychology and using mindfulness techniques. I also have training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), a research-based method used to help recover from trauma.
I am easy-going and truly enjoy helping others. I like to have fun by incorporating games, art and other activities into therapy. If you're looking for a therapist who is relatable, a tad quirky, but likes to keep things real, then I'm your gal.
