Hi there! My name is Ash. I have been a licensed therapist in New York state for 8 years, but have been in the field in other ways for much longer than that. I am a laid back, down-to-earth therapist and I use a supportive, open, collaborative approach , using various therapeutic techniques, to help people live the lives they want. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic space for you to work on your issues, while also respectfully holding you accountable to help you break unhelpful patterns.
Sessions are collaborative and person-focused so that you are able to use your time for what you want to work on; whether you want to process trauma or vent about something that is frustrating you.
Additionally, if you are someone who uses humor to work through difficult emotions, wants to talk with someone who thinks outside the box, or wants to work with an authentic, openminded person who wants to help people heal, then you came to the right place. I look forward to getting to know you!
