My name is Ashlee Pratt, an APC & NCC. I hold a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certificate in Marriage, Couples, & Family Therapy from UAB. Welcome to a place of growth & healing. Confronting your innermost struggles & embracing personal growth is a brave endeavor, & my role as a therapist is to create a safe, welcoming environment where you can lower your guard & explore your experiences & emotions. My career background has allowed me to work with a wide array of concerns, including trauma, substance use, identity issues, self-esteem, body image, anger and resentment, homelessness, physical health, grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, overcoming fear, & acceptance.
In my practice, I utilize an eclectic approach that includes ACT, DBT, & CBT. However, each session is uniquely tailored to your needs, & I work collaboratively with you to find the most effective methods to address your concerns. I also employ assessments to track your progress & adjust our approach as necessary.
