Ashlee utilizes a version of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy called Dialectical Behavior Therapy which focuses on problem-solving and acceptance. DBT uses techniques such as emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness, and distress tolerance and works well treating all types of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and low self-esteem.
Ashlee has had experience in a variety of clinical settings including a psychiatric hospital, intensive outpatient eating disorder clinic, domestic violence/sexual assault shelter, and a Christian counseling center.
