My approach to therapy is rooted in humanistic, psychodynamic, and relational approaches, with a strong emphasis on clients’ culture and autonomy, as well as the impact of relational systems and experiences. I guide clients through the process of understanding and undoing unhealthy patterns, helping them discover new ways of relating to themselves and others. I also integrate existential perspectives, supporting clients in finding meaning and purpose in their lives. While I encourage clients to embrace discomfort as a natural part of the healing journey, I do so with compassion, respecting each person's pace and comfort level.
I treat individuals, couples, and families. I have worked in community mental health centers and psychiatric hospitals, including a doctoral internship that focused on at-risk teenagers with PTSD and adults facing severe mental health challenges. My expertise spans mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and working with underserved populations.
I aim to help clients navigate life’s inevitable challenges with resilience and grace. I believe in the power of courage and inner wisdom, and I am dedicated to helping clients tap into these qualities as they move towards greater well-being. In my free time, I enjoy playing drums, reading, listening to music, and running.
