You may even know what to do but struggle to take the necessary steps to obtain what you need, understand your feelings, or provide support for your own feelings. I am a social worker here to support individuals who may be struggling with their emotions, self-control, and/or adverse situations. I take pride in working with pre-teens, adolescents, and young adults who have difficulties with depression, anxiety, anger, abuse, sexual trauma, stress, suicidal ideation and other symptoms, disabilities, and mood disorders.
I utilize strength-based, person-centered, and solution focused therapy. It is my goal to provide attentive care to my clients by listening, providing guidance, and empathic support. I assist individuals in providing coping skills, self-esteem building, and encouragement in developing an understanding of past trauma and self.
At times, life can become challenging and it is ok to want or need more assistance so that you may find the strength to overcome life struggles. Getting through each day and feeling good or positive can be difficult. I am delighted to work with individuals and provide a compassionate and comfortable setting for individuals to receive support.
