Having fulfilling and functional relationships with the people we love is vital to us, and yet that can be so challenging to achieve. We can often find ourselves stuck in old familiar ways of interacting and remain in a cycle of disconnection from the ones we love most. I work with my clients to interrupt this cycle of disconnection and dissatisfaction and create new patterns of interaction. We won’t just be talking about the issues you’re facing as a couple, we’ll bring the dynamics into the room and practice changing the patterns in real-time. I work with monogamous and non-monogamous folks of all genders and sexual orientations.
My approach allows you to get to the root of the issues and make the shifts you need to make together. By helping you both develop new conflict skills, co-regulation techniques, a shared vision, and successful collaboration with each other, I will support you in creating a win-win relationship in which you both can thrive—as individuals and together.
I am trained in PACT (Level II), the Developmental Model, Relateful, and my masters degree is in Somatic Counseling from Naropa University. As a somatic and social justice -oriented therapist, I am trained to include the body and cultural and systemic factors in therapy. I also work somatically with individuals who have found talk therapy to be ineffective.
