I’m Rylan, I’m a licensed therapist (LMFT) who works with children, teens, and adults from a client-centered approach focused on mindfulness and self-compassion. Therapy is a collaborative process, so we’re going to build your ideal outcomes together. I specialize in working with both children and adults with ADHD, depression, social anxiety, isolation, motivation and school/work problems, as well as family and relationship stress, and divorce/separation issues. I often work with creative and artistic folks, and professionals of all types.
My work is trauma-informed, LBGTQI+ affirming and inclusive. I’ve been lucky to provide therapy services to people of diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, identities, and chosen families. I look forward to connecting and getting started. I frequently work with people who are looking for an individual therapist, who are concurrently doing couple's work.
One of my specialties is to help people discover meaningful activities, friendships, and embodied games and hobbies (forms of play) to complement and enhance the important work of connecting mindfully to oneself, which we will certainly emphasize. Embodied experiences are a central theme of my work, and it’s been remarkably effective for my clients.
