Being an adolescent comes with many challenges. Transgender youth who are questioning their identities or identifying as transgender may be struggling with additional challenges and even at higher risk for multiple emotional, physical, social, and interpersonal problems. This group provides a safe space to discuss and explore many topics pertaining to transgender youth who may be needing support and resources. The trauma informed response including non-judgment, validation, non-invasion, and empathy will be used to provide group therapy from a relational perspective.

Survivors of Sexual Abuse & Sexual Assault
The trauma from childhood sexual abuse often endures into adulthood and is manifested in emotional, psychological, and interpersonal difficulties. Similarly, the experience of sexual assault can leave survivors feeling a variety of overwhelming and complex emotions including confusion, hopelessness, insecurity, shame, anger, and loss. The group therapy relationship helps facilitate recognition and understanding of the impact of trauma in women's lives. In group, survivors find a common voice which conveys acceptance and emphasizes the power to heal. Group therapy provides the participants the opportunity to connect with other survivors in their efforts to heal the wounds of sexual trauma.
