My experience includes individuals who are struggling with chronic health issues (i.e., cancer, pain, diabetes, etc.), couples who have experienced infidelity and the LGBTQIA+ community. I also specialize in aiding my clients in their spirituality (hope, purpose, meaning) as well and enjoy exploring that part of my clients lives with them.

I've had the privilege of working extensively with diverse individuals, spanning adolescents, adults, and couples facing a variety of hurdles. Whether it's adolescents coping with the pressures of growing up, adults dealing with life transitions, or couples navigating relationship challenges, I'm here to offer my support.

Dr. Amanda Wood is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of training and expertise in the field of developmental disabilities and social-cognitive delays. Dr. Wood and her colleagues take a collaborative approach to treatment, meaning that parents, siblings, and caregivers may play an integral role in the therapeutic process. As many children behave differently when visiting the doctor's office, Dr. Wood incorporates home, school, and/or community visits to better understand your child.

I believe in each individual's potential for healthy growth and change. At times, we all feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression. We all face loss or difficulties in work or relationships. I have successfully worked with individuals, couples and families to work through distress, deepen self awareness and achieve changes to lead more fulfilling emotional, relational and professional lives.
