I am a Psychologist from Austria, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, certified in Brainspotting and Clinical Hypnotherapy, and an EMDR Therapist with a vast background in Psychology and has been successfully helping clients find greater peace and success in their lives. I possess over 15 years of experience working in the field of psychology and offer bilingual therapy in English and German. I use therapy approaches that address the emotional, spiritual and physical aspects of the individual. I am specialized in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress, substance abuse and addiction.

My clients are incredible women who haven't felt like themselves lately, as life changes have derailed them and left them with increased anxiety, self doubt, and lost self esteem. I am a part of the Help and Hope Counseling, PLLC team, providing clinical mental health therapy services from the Sierra Vista, AZ office. I believe in the value of relationships and see the therapeutic connection between clients and therapists as an avenue toward healing and growth. I approach therapy from a client-centered perspective, meaning I apply my training and skills in flexible and adaptive ways to support and explore the needs of clients. Marjorie Schulte is a Psychotherapist with over 40 years experience. She is a licensed clinical social worker; a transactional analyst; board certified diplomate in clinical social work; board certified diplomate in the American Psychotherapy Association and a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Marjorie has a general clinical practice with a specialty in resolving relationship conflicts. She is a consultant on teaching and communicating about effective skills for successful and healthy living. Marjorie's style is forthright and interactive. Clients are expected to assume personal responsibility.

I am currently seeing people using both telehealth and in person modalities. Most people see psychologists because they are dealing with problems they have not been able overcome on their own. My responsibility is to provide expertise and support in helping you to get around that "stuck" place, so you can be more functional, and feel more confident, capable and balanced. I am informed by approaches that are grounded in literature and evidence based. These include cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal-process, and mindfulness practice.

I work with people using a variety of philosophies, but those encompassing humanistic and psychodynamic theories inform most of my practice. This generally means I am most interested in focusing on emotions, insight, relationships, past experiences, meta-emotion, self-worth, authenticity, fantasies, and the unconscious. When you or your child is struggling with anxiety or OCD, it can interfere with daily life and be extremely overwhelming. I offer a supportive environment with practical tools to manage anxiety when it shows up and interrupt patterns that are not helpful. I am a SPACE trained provider and have experience treating children, teens and adults with anxiety disorders. SPACE stands for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood emotions and it is one of my favorite ways to treat childhood anxiety because it is short in duration and parent focused -meaning parents are the ones engaged in treatment!
