My main priority is to help clients feel comfortable, safe, and accepted while working towards our collaborative goals. I strive to utilize evidence-based therapies and interventions to support the best outcomes for my clients. My specialties include relational concerns, trauma, and gender-affirming care. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate: phases of life, communication difficulties, attachment injuries, and various traumas. My process begins with a comprehensive assessment to gain a clearer understanding of the challenges and needs of each client and creation of measurable goals for therapy.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Gottman Levels 1&2, a Prepare-Enrich facilitator, and have presented communication workshops/trainings for the AZMFT Clinic. In addition to my clinical role, I am also an associate faculty member at Arizona State University teaching for the Master's of Marriage and Family Therapy Program.
