I have experience working with clients from many diverse backgrounds. I spent a few years working in addiction treatment and have worked in residential treatment centers helping clients struggling with drug, alcohol, and gambling addictions through a 12 step lens. During the pandemic, I pivoted my career path and began focusing on clients struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and parenthood struggles. I have also worked with clients struggling with ADHD to both process the diagnosis and work on behavioral changes. I have experience with individuals and couples!
Building insight is an incredible tool in the therapeutic process. I work on helping my clients notice patterns of behavior they tend to engage in, and work on understanding themselves better. I am very client centered; I follow your lead and point out the things I am noticing along the way. Together, we talk it out and help you make behavioral changes!
I am a strong believer that the therapeutic relationship is the most important tool in therapy. Not every therapist is the right fit for every client, and thats ok!
