Anger Management: Full Day (Court-Approved)
Court-approved 8-hour anger management class and must be paid in advance. This class will meet weekly in North Little Rock for 2 hours. You must complete all four separate classes for a total of 8 hours. This anger management group focuses on relaxation training (which targets emotional and physiological components of anger), cognitive interventions (to build awareness of triggers, attributions, maladaptive beliefs, and inflammatory thought processes), communication skills (which strengthens assertiveness and conflict resolution), and integrated CBT to target multiple response domains. Offered on the third Saturday of *every other month* as an all-day class, lunch provided.

Domestic Violence Group (DVIP) (Court-Approved)
Court-approved 26-week Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP). A psychoeducational and cognitive behavioral therapy group for the treatment of male and female adult domestic violence offenders. This group is held weekly at our North Little Rock location. Supportive counseling, educational materials, and presentations about domestic violence and its effects. Training exercises, articles, video clips, handouts, homework, and other resources are used to examine the role of shame and aggression, as well as the negative cycles that become pervasive and perpetuate a cycle of violence in its many forms. Substance Abuse Education (SAE) (Court-Approved)
Court-approved 9-hour course for psychoeducation and cognitive-behavioral therapy. This class focuses on substance abuse and treatment for adult males and females. Information covers a wide variety of aspects, including an understanding of what substance abuse is, the warning signs of addiction, information on how substance use affects the mind and body, consequences of use, impact on physical/mental health and relationships, how and why substances are abused, and exploration of triggers, cravings, and treatment options.
