I use expert assessment and diagnosis to understand what each person is dealing with, and collaboratively establish a personalized treatment plan to help meet individualized goals. My approach often incorporates validated treatments to help improve functioning and enhance a sense of meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. This type of therapy works best for those who want to change something about themselves and better their current circumstances.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have doctoral-level training in Evidence Based Practices (EBPs), which integrate the best available research with clinical expertise. I go beyond supportive listening, forming strong alliances with patients to effectively enhance their mental health and well-being.
I cultivate an environment of compassion, support for autonomy, and a collaborative approach to values-driven behavior change. I am LGBTQ+ affirmative, strive for on-going cultural humility and self-reflection, and value working with patients from diverse backgrounds.
