My name is Arcelia Ibarra, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New Mexico. I provide telehealth therapy services to clients statewide. I use a Holistic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach when working with clients. I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship issues. My approach is client-centered, and strength based using Holistic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This approach helps understand how thoughts, feelings, and behavior can impact each other and allows us to work towards positive patterns.
I work with adolescents and adults looking to find balance and happiness. I like to help people that are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship issues. My communication style is clear, calm, supportive, and positive. I like to create a safe space for clients to be able to trust me while they begin their healing journey.
During our first session we will start to get know each other and learn about your history. We will talk about what has been going on in your life and the reasons for coming to therapy. I don't want you to feel pressure and only want you to share what you are comfortable sharing. We will move at your pace.
