Sessions are client-centered and assist clients in reaching their goals. I like to serve as a guide and a helper to assist in unpacking complicated things. I believe that people have the answers inside them and sometimes need some assistance in seeing things more clearly to live their best lives.

I help clients find a greater sense of themselves by helping them to become more aware of their own human nature. I aim to empower clients to become clear about their goals and how to achieve them. Clients can hope to gain greater understanding and respect for their own inner ability to find resolution. In counseling, people feel supported while working through real and perceived barriers at their own pace. I believe each of us has the wisdom we seek within ourselves; the key is to access that wisdom and to believe in it.

I focus heavily on existential and interpersonal issues in my practice and encourage clients to explore and express their needs and wants in work, school, relationships and beyond. I have experience working with teenagers, young adults, and their families after years of being a therapist and working in related jobs. I believe everyone has the capacity for change. Often times we need guidance, or a gentle push, to get there. My belief is that most people, if not everyone, can benefit from mental health services during at least one point in their lives. Life can be very challenging, but people are strong and, inherently, survivors. However, sometimes the ways we adapt and survive become unhelpful in our everyday lives, and we need a safe, neutral, knowledgeable, and unconditional person to help us walk through recovery to healing. I am a licensed clinical therapist and have a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
