Sharon Odom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field serving the community in a variety of settings to include inpatient and outpatient. Sharon provides counseling for a variety of mental health issues for adolescents and adults, such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, partner relational problems, personality disorders, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, and more. She has experience in grief therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), couples therapy, and more.

As a licensed clinical social worker and co-owner of ReNEW Counseling and Wellness, I am currently work with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and groups-treating a wide variety of issues. I have a masters degree in clinical social work and specialized training in EMDR, TF-CBT, Parenting/Co-parenting; Parent Coordination; High Conflict Divorce. Hello! A little about me, I am a trained Brainspotting and EMDR therapist, seeking to help individuals work through past traumatic or problematic events that are causing current distress. I am also passionate about working with women or couples struggling with sexual-related issues regarding intimacy, trauma, sexual functioning, discomfort, purity culture, or shame surrounding this topic. I'm a trained facilitator for couples seeking premarital counseling and am passionate about providing a safe and accepting place for individuals to seek guidance when navigating personal issues.

I enjoy working with couples and families to help them learn how to effectively communicate and build connection. I have experience in working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with clients who identify as neurodivergent, including children, adolescents, and adults who have been diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and other conditions. In my experience, here are certain challenges these individuals face that can lead to stress, secondary anxiety and depression, and ultimately burnout.

I work well with older teens, women and couples. I am experienced with mood disorders such as anxiety, depression and bipolar. I am trained in EMDR and TFCBT for treatment of trauma, and currently am training in the specialty of Perinatal Mood Disorders.

Since 2016 Cory has been working with adolescents, adults, couples & families at the professional level. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Arkansas & Tennessee. She received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta. While in her Masters program, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Christian Sex Therapy. She is currently pursuing additional licensure through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapy (ABCST), is EMDR trained, and has over 120 hours of certified trauma training.
