I’m a Professional Counselor helping the “sandwich” generation of adult children navigate the challenges of aging parents so that they foster resilience and enhance quality of life for both generations. I help clients navigate a broken system for the aging population, learn how to honor parents with dignity, and protect adult children's own well-being along the way. The ins-and-outs of aging parents and their desires are unique to each situation and family, but having an ally to walk alongside you to help your family to stay intact and healthy through it all is priceless. I specialize in Equine Therapy as well as traditional office psychotherapy. I take a mindfulness approach to "holding space" for my clients. I also recently completed an externship and Core Skills in Emotion Focused Therapy which allows me to do some pretty tough work with couples seeking joint therapy.
