Depression and anxiety are at an all-time high, especially among children, teens, and young adults. Their mental health is controlled by peers, social media, and high expectations administered by family. Sometimes, a traumatic event occurs and their lives spin out of control. Many individuals who struggle with their mental health at such a young age begin to fill the void of what they believe is missing in their lives with negative vices. Some, unfortunately, turn to self-harm and have suicidal ideations.

I provide in person and Telehealth sessions and utilize cognitive behavioral, person centered, EFT, and somatic experiencing practices into my therapy.
I believe no one should journey alone and am highly honored and privileged to walk into hard places and difficulties alongside people. I have a passion to help people regain a sense of hope, healing, connection, and attachment, and to find personal tools, skills, beliefs, and confidence to help them tackle whatever life challenges may be faced. I have a heart and a lot of experience working with anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, self esteem/self image issues, stress management, relational difficulties, and non complex trauma. I also have a special heart for infertility and adoption issues.

Understanding the world around you can be challenging, especially when faced with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, or general life stress. Children, teens, and young adults may have even more of a challenge if they are still learning about themselves or have experienced stressors beyond their control. Learning skills to overcome these stressors or wanting to create a deeper understanding of the self are two reasons young adults or parents (of children in need) may seek out therapy.

I enjoy working with couples and families to help them learn how to effectively communicate and build connection. I have experience in working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with clients who identify as neurodivergent, including children, adolescents, and adults who have been diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and other conditions. In my experience, here are certain challenges these individuals face that can lead to stress, secondary anxiety and depression, and ultimately burnout.

Featuring 24/7 online scheduling and the ability to see clients in person or online through a secure telehealth platform, therapy has never been easier: Just pop in your earbuds and open your laptop.
From the outside looking in, you have a great life. You’re accomplished, driven, and dependable. But on the inside, you are screaming for life to slow down. That little voice in your head is quick to remind you of all the ways you’re falling short. You are just trying to hold it all together, but it's exhausting and you don't think you can do it anymore. You are tired of giving so much to everyone else while you continue to come up last on your list. Not anymore. It's time for a change.
