Welcome! My name's Margaret Ann and I am a LCSW at Indigo Counseling. Starting therapy is a difficult step, which is why I believe in meeting you where you are at and easing into the tough stuff. My favorite part of my job is getting to see clients heal from the events and stressors that they never thought would get easier. The path to healing can be tough, but I hope I can be a part of your journey.

Life is full of ups and downs, uncertainties, changes and setbacks. Often times it becomes overbearing to carry the weight of it all. Nothing says that you have to face these issues alone. I primarily work with adults who are suffering from Depression, Anxiety and Grief. However, anyone who is able and willing to be an active participant in their mental health journey is welcome in this space with me. I work tiresomely to ensure each client is afforded a safe place to explore their issues and achieve their goals.

Sara’s passion and focus in counseling is grief and loss. She is an activate member of the Association of Death Education and Counseling and is a firm believer that grief is a common experience that binds us together in life. Sara has worked with a wide array of populations from geriatric, college students, homeless, perinatal loss, and adolescents.

Despite ethnicity, socioeconomic status, religious affiliation, or any other personal experiences or beliefs, each of us have the same start to life at birth: a pristine slate on which to begin our individual journey. Due to my own personal experiences, I strongly believe I have an affinity for troubled youth, young adults, and families. I know that I am blessed beyond words to have come out of my own childhood trauma with meager scars and have been given the privilege of walking alongside individuals struggling with the same sense of stability and self-worth I encountered as a child.

I love working with children of all ages, adolescents, and young adults. I have worked with a wide range of issues including behavior issues, eating disorders, self-esteem, and body image issues. I have also worked with other challenges like anxiety, trauma, etc. People who suffer from these issues have needs and goals to be able to get them out of the negative eye and help improve their quality of life.

Tierney graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Tierney has been working in Mental Health in a variety of settings including private practice, inpatient/PHP/IOP, University Counseling Centers, and short-term virtual mental health programming. Tierney as a practitioner sees herself as passionate about the patient/therapist alliance. She feels this is one of the most important factors in patient progress and healing, “We are co-pilots on this journey, I am not working for you, I am working with you”.

As a clinician, I believe that when encouragement is present, people thrive and empower themselves to find their own healthy validation. Alfred Adler said, “Seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another ”. This raveled sentence means so much to me. I want clients to know you are seen, heard, and those feelings that you experience are accepted and safe here.

Life can hit hard. Stress and heartache can build over time or it can explode instantly into one big mess. Most of the time you can get through ok on your own but sometimes it's just too much to keep going solo. Worries, bad memories, feeling overwhelmed, kids/significant other driving you nuts, or wanting to just hide in bed can take over. Sometimes you need a friendly ear to help you figure out what happened and how to get out of the mess without feeling judged or looked down on. Someone who can help you feel like you again: happy, hopeful, confident, empowered!

At times, life is overwhelming and complex - trauma and stress can leave us disconnected from our bodies, feeling like we are floating through life, not truly present. After a while, we begin to feel stuck. The things we did to ease anxiety and alleviate the pain are no longer working for us. How do we change these patterns and stop the cycle? It is my goal as a counselor to help my clients become unstuck and find healing. Sometimes, we need a gentle push to simply begin the journey.

Therapy & Assessment Center (TAC) is a place for clients to find indiviudal purpose and family healing. We treat children (starting at 3 years-old). TAC offers a creative enviroment for children to address emotional and behavior issues through play therapy and behavior modification. TAC has an amazing sensory-based play therapy room that your children will love. TAC takes the time to teach parents creative parenting techniques to use at home. TAC also treats teens and adults of all ages.

Brad Hays is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 28 years of counseling experience. He is independently credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arkansas. Given the current times in our society, therapists treating depression and anxiety are common. Brad specializes in treating those who are struggling with mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, substance use, life adjustments, divorce, grief, victims of abuse, sexual trauma, and anger management. He especially enjoys working with couples.

I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults who are dealing with ADHD, depression, anxiety, difficulty coping with stress, or recovering from trauma.

Emberlynn (golden retriever) and Ella (black lab) can sometimes be found at the office for sessions. I have the best job in the world. It is an immense privilege to help people carry the heavy burden of being a human. I offer professional and lived experience with eating disorders, anxiety and mood disorders. I utilize most of the skills that I teach my clients regularly. I attend as many trainings as I can. My goal is to be who I did not have when I was younger for my clients.
