I am a marriage and family therapist that helps individuals and couples navigate the challenges of modern life. We explore how roles in family, relational, social, and cultural networks influence the whole person. The client is the expert on their story and my role is to help translate that narrative through our combined knowledge. Clients I work with often feel they have all the outside elements for a happy life, but still struggle with stress, relational problems, self-esteem, and work issues. Something is missing or preventing fulfillment and it is our collaborative efforts that help us discover and remove those barriers.
Specializing in how the parts affect the whole means I am all about versatility. In session we use a blend of psychological models to build a therapeutic relationship that is tailored to the individual. There are many paths to emotional growth and as a therapist I hope to be a guide and fellow traveler on the path most suited to the client.
I earned my masters in marriage and family therapy in 2014 and have a decade of experience in relational counseling, systemic counseling (including Tech and Business systems), depression, anxiety, phobias, stress, communication skills, self-esteem, body issues, identity crisis, life transitions, mindfulness based stress reduction, and grief and loss.
