I work with individuals who have experienced trauma, are struggling with anxiety and depression, or are just feeling overwhelmed with the emotions and stress of the human experience. Using effective modalities, such as EMDR and IFS, together we uncover the root cause of distress and work to resolve issues. My clients learn the neuroscience of how the mind, heart and body are interdependent parts of our complex physiology, and use that knowledge to develop practical, tangible tools that create lasting changes. I aim to empower clients to take charge of their wellness so that therapy is not an endless endeavor.
I am not a healer - your body is, your tribe is, nature is. I am an advocate, educator and supporter in your healing process. Discomfort, both physical and emotional, is necessary for growth and change. I help facilitate that growth so that discomfort is also just a process. I can hold big emotions and heavy situations while finding room for humor and hope.
