I strive to establish a positive and trusting relationship with each person I meet with, while creating a safe, empathic and non-judgmental space to identify strengths, address challenges and develop healthy behaviors to reach desired outcomes. I tailor approaches to each individual and use a variety of approaches such as CBT, Motivational interviewing, Mindfulness and Person-Centered techniques and focus on individual specialized goals based on patient's specific needs.
These approaches can assist with understanding triggers, feelings and behaviors as well as the development of healthy behaviors to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, loss and grief, life pressures and transitions as well as low self- esteem.
