My name is Anthony Navarro and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Los Angeles, California, and working with clients throughout southern California via telehealth services. I work with adults and adolescents while specializing in depression, anxiety, stress, and anger management while using Solution Focus and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients reach their mental health goals.
My approach to goal setting is working collaboratively with clients in order to specifically address what they would like help with to regain emotional stability in their life. Goals in therapy are client-centered in order to help them reduce symptoms and/or learn more effective coping skills.
The therapy process first starts with building rapport with my clients and gathering further information in order to best understand their needs. Psychoeducation on effective interventions will also be presented in order for clients to start working toward their treatment goal/s.
