I am currently accepting new clients and provide individual, family and couples therapy sessions in person OR via telehealth. I have a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW). I have also earned an academic concentration in mental health and trauma for my MSW. I have experience working at a wonderful community mental health agency for 5.5 years in addition to experience working with children in public schools helping them with learning and emotional/behavioral challenges.
I have been academically trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents & families and have had much success with providing effective therapy. I also work with young adults and adults. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, emotional/behavioral challenges & relationships.
I use a strength-based & trauma-informed approach and believe that my clients are the experts of their own lives. I help my clients meet their goals, uncover their strengths, learn healthy ways of thinking, teach coping skills to manage stress and their emotions and to improve their relationships.
